Did you know?
Does your pet have chronic arthritis or chronic pain where he/she has to be on medications daily? Did you know that over medicating with most anti-inflammatories is unsafe for your pet? We are now offering laser therapy. Laser therapy is a drug and surgery free option for your pet. Laser therapy uses a beam of light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it. Laser energy induces a biological response in the cells which reduce pain and inflammation and increases healing time. Your pet may feel a gentle and soothing warmth during treatment. Most treatments take a matter of minutes a few times a week initially and then controlled as needed after the initial treatments. Laser therapy is used in many other situations, including swelling, irritated skin, and oral lesions. Costs varies by packages. Please contact the office for more information.

Burlington, NC Veterinarians – Dr. Huth of Stoney Creek Veterinarian Hospital
Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital Inc. was founded by Dr. Glenn Huth and has been serving the Burlington, Greensboro and Whitsett areas of North Carolina since its beginning in 2001. In 2005, we moved into our 3-acre, 5,200 square foot animal hospital located on Burlington Road in Whitsett, NC.
Dr. Huth, graduated from the University of Florida with honors in 1996 and has practiced locally since graduation. His first position in this area was with a multi-doctor practice in northwest Greensboro until January 2000. Dr. Huth recently devoted his professional career to advancing his skills in emergency medicine and surgery, practicing for one of the Triad’s largest emergency clinics. His desire to return to long-term care and life long relationships with his patients and their owners has brought him back into private practice.
I Love My Job
Enjoying his work with animals of all shapes and sizes, his experience has included everything from dogs and cats, to birds, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and reptiles. During his previous years of practice, Dr. Huth provided full medical and surgical care for all types of household pets, as well as exotic consultation by veterinary referral. These referrals have expanded as far as Virginia and the North Carolina coast.
Great Years and More To Come
Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, Dr. Huth relocated to Florida after completing his undergraduate studies at The State University of New York at Albany. While in Florida, Dr. Huth met his wife, Brenda, and they have been married since 1992. They established their home in southeast Greensboro in May 1996, where they raise their two children, Ryan and Shannon. Dr. Huth enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including horseback riding, hiking and gardening. He and his family are active members of First Christian Church in Greensboro.
Burlington, NC Veterinarians – Dr. Talbot of Stoney Creek Veterinarian Hospital
Dr. Talbot considers herself a Greensboro native, having lived in the area since she was 3 years old. Her studies took her away from Greensboro for several years, but she didn’t stray far, receiving her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. Upon completion of her DVM, Dr. Talbot moved back to the Greensboro area to pursue a year-long rotating small animal internship focusing on internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine from the local referral hospital, Carolina Veterinary Specialists. Following her internship, Dr. Talbot filled in at Stoney Creek occasionally and was thrilled to have the opportunity to return full time a few years later in March of 2014.
Great Years and More To Come
Dr. Talbot and her husband, also a veterinarian, married in 2010 and welcomed their son Calvin to the world not too long afterward in 2012. They share their home with two mixed breed dogs, two pygmy goats, and several laying chickens. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer and volleyball, hiking and baking.
